今、デフトーンズは、最も熱いバンドの一つとして注目と尊敬を集めている。その洗練された独創性あふれる音楽は比類のないもので、グラミー賞®を受賞した異端児と言えるでしょう。
1988年、北カリフォルニア出身の地元の友人同士によってサクラメントで結成されたバンドは、精力的にリリースを重ね、全世界で1,000万枚以上のレコードを売り上げ、100億回以上のストリーミング再生を記録し、世代を超えて人々に影響を与えてきました。彼らの作品には、2000年のRIAAダブル・プラチナ認定アルバム『White Pony』（グループ初のグラミー賞®を受賞）をはじめ、RIAAプラチナ認定アルバム『Diamond Eyes』（2010年）、『Koi No Yokan』（2012年）、『Ohms』（2020年）などが名を連ねています。
