1990年代初頭ニューヨークはスタテン・アイランドから飛び出した驚異のMC集団＝ウータン・クラン。中心的メンバーのプリンス・ラキーム（RZA)がプロデュースするソウルフルなビートをバックに、RZA、オル・ダーティー・バスタード、メソッド・マン、ゴーストフェイス・キラー、レイクウォン、ジニアス（GZA）、インスペクター・デック（レベルINS）、ユー・ゴッドといった、後にそれぞれ名を成す個性豊かなラッパーたちが入り乱れ、革命的なヒップホップ集団としてブレイクした。
1993年発売の衝撃のデビュー・アルバム『Enter The Wu-Tang Clan (36 Chambers)』
（邦題：燃えよウータン）のサンプリングを多用したプロダクション、少林寺武術、忠誠心、そして真正性に根ざしたウータンの哲学はリリース後瞬く間に話題となり、ヒップホップ史に輝くクラシックに。個性の強すぎるメンバーのキャラクターやスタイル、作品を通して描かれるシネマティックな世界観は1990年代ヒップホップの黄金時代を切り拓き、その後ミュージック・シーンはもちろん、カルチャー、ファッションと多大な影響を与えた。
1997年に『Wu-tang
forever』を発売し全世界で600万枚以上のセールスをあげるラップ・アルバムとしては驚異的な記録を打ち立て、ウータン・クランとして不動の地位を築いた。ソロ活動やコラボレーション作品を通じて、彼らは世代を超えてヒップホップ界を牽引し続けており、「Wu-Tang
Forever」という精神のもと、ウータン・クランのレガシーは今もなお生き続けている。
‘93年結成。メンバーはZeebra（ジブラ), K Dub Shine（ケーダブシャイン）, DJ Oasis（ディージェイオアシス）の3人からなるHIPHOPグループ。
‘95年リリースしたアルバム、HIP HOP史上に残る名盤「空からの力」で彗星の如くシーンに登場、当時の日本のヒップホップの概念を根底から覆すライミング、フロウ、トラックメイキング、思想、姿勢で旋風を巻き起こすが、アルバム、シングル、ビデオ各1枚を残し、わずか2年の活動で姿を隠した伝説のグループ。活動停止後、各自ソロ活動をスタート。ソロでの活躍とも相まって日本の多くのアーティストに多大な影響力を持ち続けているカリスマグループ。
2002年に6年ぶりに封印を解き、活動再開。’02年4月10日シングル「UNSTOPPABLE」「F.F.B.」を2枚同時リリース。オリコンチャート初登場5位(F.F.B.)、6位(UNSTOPPABLE)のダブルチャートイン。’02年9月11日シングル「911（Remix）」「ジェネレーションネスクト」を2枚同時リリース。再びダブルチャートイン。「ジェネレーションネクスト」は、窪塚洋介
主演映画「凶気の桜」のメインテーマとして起用される。’02年10月17日に発売された2nd album「最終兵器」はオリコンチャート初登場3位を記録、20万枚の売り上げを記録し、日本の音楽界の新たなマスターピースとなっている。
政治、宗教、社会、マスメディアやシーンに対しての痛烈なメッセージ、過激な批評精神は、時にＣＤの回収騒動やメディアでのオンエア禁止に発展したり、大手新聞やマスコミで論争が起こるほどの影響力を持つ日本で唯一のHIP HOPグループ。
沖縄出身のラッパー。
本名の漢字を直訳した Asia Wish Child を略した名を持つ。
独自の歴史と文化を持つ沖縄の精神性をルーツに、個人的な喪失や数々の困難を乗り越え、その経験を表現へと昇華。
揺るぎない覚悟と意志をもって、日本ヒップホップシーンのクイーンとしての地位を確立してきた。

1996年生まれ、岐阜県高山市出身。 16歳の時にグループでキャリアをスタート。解散後に ¥ellowBucksと改名し、19歳で単身渡米。その経験は、卓越したラップスキルと華のあるルックスや所作を 兼ね備える彼のスタイル形成にも大きく影響した。 2019年に「ラップスタア誕生 Season 3」で優勝を勝ち取り脚光を浴びて以来、高次元で自身名義作品のリリースを重ねている。自身の作品はもとより、数多の客演仕事や堂々としたライブパフォーマンスなどを通して総合的に評価を高めており、地元・東海エリアを背負う新たな“トウカイテイオー”にふさわしい存在であることを、自らが握るマイクで鮮烈に証明している。
